How to Connect to Your Nexus Gaming Server

Use the supplied connection address

Open the server in your Nexus Gaming client panel and copy the Connect Address exactly as shown. Include the port when the game asks for one.

Start the application and wait until its status is Running before connecting. A newly installed game may need several minutes to complete its first startup.

Find the server in-game

Use the game server browser when supported, or add the address through the game or Steam favourites list. Server-list publication can take several minutes after startup.

Check that your game client is on the same release branch as the server. Beta branches and outdated clients commonly produce version errors.

When connection fails

Confirm the application is running, re-copy the address and password, and retry by direct address. If the problem continues, open a support ticket with the game name, exact error and time of the attempt. Never place a server password in a public Discord channel.
